Before his role at OXA, Borries held significant leadership positions where he consistently delivered impactful results. As Business Development Director for Renewable Energy at FUCHS Lubricants Vietnam, he contributed to setting new standards through innovation and service. His tenure as Chief Operating Officer at Shire Oak International showcased his dedication to driving the large-scale deployment of renewable energy in developing countries. He also served as Vice President Operations at Pixelz Inc., where he was a legal representative with full P&L and business accountability, facilitating change and driving the organization towards financial profitability through innovative lean assembly line workflows and AI integration.
Earlier in his career, as General Director at SPRING PRODUCTION, Borries led multi-disciplinary and intercultural teams of over 100 employees, expanding markets and driving profitable business growth across ASEAN. He successfully transformed an initial cost center into a self-contained, fully compliant profit center and regional service hub. His experience also includes turnaround management as Managing Director at DIGI-TEXX VIETNAM, and actively engaging with the German Business Association (GBA) as a Board Member to support the German community and enhance bi-lateral economic relations between Germany and Vietnam.
Beyond his impressive professional accomplishments, Borries is known for his practical, hands-on approach. He’s not just about theory; he’s about execution that delivers measurable impact. Fluent in German, English, and French, and intermediate in Vietnamese, he truly bridges international best practices with deep local insights.
